Proximity chat addon

Proximity Text Chat addon introduces a realistic proximity chat system to your Minecraft Bedrock world, server, or realm. Players can only communicate through chat if they are within a specified distance from one another, simulating real-life conversation ranges.

Proximity chat key features:

  • Players can only see and send chat messages to others within a customizable block range. Beyond this range, they cannot hear or be heard.
  • The chat range is adjustable via commands or the in-game menu. Admins can lock this setting to prevent unauthorized changes.
  • Add personalized ranks to players’ names in chat. You can fully customize the rank's name, color, and appearance using templates.
  • Only admins with specific tags can access menus or change settings if this option is enabled.
  • Players attempting to chat without anyone nearby will receive a message stating, "Nobody can hear you."
  • Works in single-player worlds, Realms, and multiplayer servers. Requires experimental features to be enabled.

How to Use:

- Open the settings menu with /function proximity/menu or execute the command via the console if necessary.
- Adjust the proximity distance, customize chat ranks, and toggle features to suit your needs.
- Players can change their rank through the Proximity Tag Manager or by assigning tags manually.
